The East Java Islamic Economic Society (MES) (JATIM), in this case represented by Dr. Sulistya Rusgianto as Deputy Chair IV of MES JATIM, held a meeting with the Research and Publication Division of the East Java Association of Sharia Economic Experts (IAEI) at Campus B, Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University on Wednesday, January 25 2023.

This event was opened by the Head of the Department of Islamic Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University, Dr. Sri Herianingrum, who is also Chair II of IAEI East Java. The meeting held at the Tirto hall, FEB UNAIR, discussed the efforts of MES East Java and IAEI East Java to develop research and publications in all MES branches throughout East Java. "We hope that this collaboration can be carried out so that all members of the Islamic Economic Community in East Java can feel these benefits," concluded Sri Herianingrum.

The mutually agreed initial step is to hold a visit and try to cooperate with relevant stakeholders such as Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority and Islamic financial institutions in East Java.
