Reporting from jawapos.com, the quality of the Islamic Economics Study Program at Airlangga University (Unair) is called the best in Indonesia. The study program was ranked first as the Islamic Economics Study Program with the highest Sinta Score in Indonesia.

Refer to the Sinta page or Science and Technology Index, as of October, Unair's Islamic Economics Study Program excels with a score of 9.206.

The Head of the Department of Sharia Economics at Airlangga University, Sri Herianingrum, admitted that he was very proud of the results. This is one of the real actions of the Ekis Study Program in improving the quality, both the quality of the study program and higher education institutions.

"So it has a very high role for the process of improving the quality and ranking of universities in Indonesia," said Sri Herianingrum, Monday (7/11).

He called the Sinta Score an assessment of the lecturers' research, which research must be very useful for the Islamic economic industry and for the progress of the Indonesian nation. So, it is a form of da'wah and a motivation in itself to continue to improve research within the Department of Sharia Economics of Airlangga University.

Sri and the lecturer team have prepared a strategy to improve the Sinta Score through research. Among them are making camps lecturer research and grouping based on H Scopus index.

In addition, Sri continued, Unair's Islamic economics department has also set up four research centers. That is  Center for Halal Industry Digitalization (CHID), Center for Innovative Islamic Investment and Capital Market (CIICAM), Center of Islamic Social Finance (CIFS), and Center for Socio Economic Islamic Boarding School (CSEIBS).

Sri added that the spirit of research is also transmitted to students through the application of research in coursework.

"From the first semester in the course, I was told to make paper and presentations, as well as other courses are also one of the strategies for students who enjoy writing,” said Sri Herianingrum, who is also the 2nd chairman of the East Java Association of Islamic Economists.

Therefore, Sri continued, he appealed to students to always enjoy every educational process at Unair and invites the public to study at the Islamic Economics Study Program Unair, both at the S1, S2, and S3 levels.

"Unair's Islamic Economy has many advantages, one of which is that it has received national and international accreditation. Don't hesitate to choose the Unair Ekis Study Program, either S1, S2, or S3. We already have A accreditation from BANPT and ABEST21, FIBAA accreditation. Unair has also been included in 369 of the world's best campuses," said Sri Herianingrum.
