Monday, August 8, 2016, is the birthday of Faculty of Economics and Business Airlangga University, then as a form of commemoration of 55th birthday FEB Unair conducted FEB Day activities filled with open house activities FEB Unair by inviting high school students in Surabaya to attend FEB Unair. FEB Day features four undergraduate faculty exhibitions in FEB Unair, and lectures for high school students. FEB Day held from 08.00 till 13.00 with open house activities 4 undergraduate program at FEB Unair, and lecture for high school students. At 13.00, Tasyakuran activity invites all FEB Unair big family from lecturers, education staff, alumni, and retired lecturers and education staff FEB Unair.

Open house also features IB Game which is an educational game about syariah bank. In the IB Game, high school students can find out how the process of transactions and operations of Islamic banks in a virtual so that will help high school students in understanding the concept and operational Islamic banks. In addition, guest lectures by special guests from Bahrain are Dr. Sutan Emir, from University College of Bahrain (UCB) on what is Islamic finance. The high school students seemed enthusiastic to hear an explanation from Dr. Sutan Emir, and every student who can answer questions will be given souvenirs. On this open house opportunity, high school students can also feel directly in the class of entrepreneurship and Islamic business courses taught directly by Dr. Ir. Acsania Hendratmi.
“This Open House is a new program from FEB Unair which is packaged in FEB Day as a series of 55th Anniversary of FEB Unair which aims to introduce Islamic Economics S1 program to high school students”, explains Noven Suprayogi, Head of Islamic Economics S1. “This year is still high school students in Surabaya and surrounding areas, next year we will extend invitations to high school students outside Surabaya or outside East Java, because this is part of our promotion to get quality talent from high schools across Indonesia” more Noven Suprayogi.
